In order to manage the industrial waste effectively, the Environmental Protection Administration(EPA) found ”The Industrial Waste Trace and Administration Project, The Second and Third Year” to implement policies, there are 45 professional engineers allocated to assist the local Environmental Protection Breaus(EPB) on the issue. The project prevent illegal dumps through auditing waste declarations and assist field inspections.
The project follow the administration of the first year, to solid project quality and achievements. On the other hand, network administration is work effectivly in the system.
In order to secure the profession of project members. Four times of on job training have being helded to face the change on the direction and the regulation shifting.
Upto the Dec. 31st, 2003, there were 13,865 enterprises being filed. The On-line Industrial Waste Clean Up Declaration Rate is 86%, which is much batter than 45.67% of 2002 and 52.02% of 2001.
In the aspect of the submition rate of the Clean Up Plan of Industrial Waste, upto the Dec. 31st, 2003, the first batch is 96%. Further, the submition rate of the first and second batch is 86%. Finally, there were 8,238 submissions which promote a lot to integration to the administration database.
Through the practice of this project, there were 7,087 counselling calls, 117,764 files and 117 enterprises being inspected, in addition,getting better administration on the industrial waste and prevent from the raise of environmental crime.
