九十二年度嘉義市空氣品質改善維護計畫-加強街道揚塵洗街計畫

中文摘要 嘉義市環境保護局為降低本市道路揚塵量及維持市區道路之整潔，故申請環保署補助辦理街道揚塵洗掃計畫，希能達到改善街道市容及提升空氣品質之目的。本計畫自簽約日起(92年4月15日)即行洗街作業之執行，預計洗街長度為4,000公里，截至十二月底共完成6609.4公里之洗街長度，進度達成率高達165％。亦完成洗街車行車管理系統之建置工作，作為每日稽查洗掃路線之依據。經洗街前、中、後四次之TSP檢測彙整分析，洗掃作業對道路揚塵削減率介於15％~45％。問卷調查共計執行505份，結果顯示民眾對空氣品質及街道揚塵尚能接受，並有94％以上民眾支持執行洗掃作業。

The Enhanced Street Fugitive Dust Improvement Plan

英文摘要 n order to reduce the fugitive dust quantity and to maintain the hygienic of the city street, the Environmental Protection Department of Chiayi County (EPD) applied for a subsidy from the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) to implement the Street Fugitive Dust Improvement plan to improve the street environment and the air quality. The plan started on April 15, 2003 since the Bureau executed a contract to wash the street of 4,000 kilometer in length. Until December 2003, a total of 6609.4kilometer street has been processed. It has reaches the 165% of the planned progress. Meanwhile, the Street Wash Vehicle Management System was set up in order to monitor the street wash schedule on daily basis A series of four Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) Testing were conducted prior to, during, and after the fugitive dust improvement processes. The results showed that the fugitive dust has been reduced with a ratio somewhere between 15% ~ 45% by street washing task. The 505 public survey sample showed that the general public felt that the air quality and the fugitive dust on the street were more acceptable than before. There are over 94% residents who support this street washing plan.
