According to the “Emissive Pollution Control project of Construction Area” of Tainan County (hereafter calls this project) in 2005, the execution abstract of this project provided in Table 1 and Table 2 which briefly described each outcome of the project.
1. Analysis and Discussion
The plan of Construction site’s pollution control does not only continue the project task as the past, but also assists “Construction site’s Air Pollution Prevention Management” that issue at July 1, 2004. We targeted on managing method and on consulting at this year’s patrol. Moreover, we selected the excellent construction site to be awarded. Also, introducing and illustrating the importance of management issue on the propagandist conference. On the issue of maintaining the air quality, we encourage volunteers to clean the street dust. The outcomes of this year exceed the goal by 200 %.
We held the miniature conference on the heavy polluted or wide regional construction sites in order to meet the goal of pollution reduction. This year, we concentrated on consulting and controlling constructions in TV reserved area at Tainan Industrial Science Park.
Investigation on uncovered surface properties is another main focus in this year’s project. The information corresponded to the present investigation have been organized for future controlling strategies.
2. Main Contain:
1. Build up the database about heavy construction sites’ information, uncovered surface properties, and sources’ emission.
2. Patrol the heavy construction sites more than 8000 cases including 1000 cases in holiday.
3. Hold three educational conferences to illustrate the importance of preventing air pollution. Also, distribute the adverting products to associated corporation in county.
4. Select and award the advanced heavy construction sites as demonstration to others.
5. Complete ten TSP examination sample and five dust falling monitor stations.
6. Patrol the heavy construction sites that around monitor station to meet the function of pre-warning.
7. The total TSP of Construction sites under controlled is above 80 %, and the error percentage of TSP reduction is around 10 %.
8. Collect and refund the construction site’s air pollution fee and complete Environmental Protection Administration’s (EPA) evaluation.
