Since 2002, the TAQMN has been updating old instruments, acquiring new instruments to monitor more different types of pollutants. At present, the TAQMN has expanded to 76 sites for various monitoring purposes. To enable the staffs having the proper skill and information to manage the monitoring sites, this project accomplish
1. Desinging a map to show the current operation status of each site of the TAQMN.
2. Establishing, testing and drilling the standard install procedure of data acquisition system of the TAQMN.
3. Establishing the Center Database data import mechanism for 8 Photochemical Assessment Monitoring Stations (PAMS) sites around Taiwan, 5 PM (particulate matter) Supersites Supersites in northern and southern Taiwan, 3 Meteorological Temperature Profilers (MTPs) in northern (National Taiwan University), central (Si-Tueng), and southern (Zen-Wu) and one Wind Profiler site in soutern Taiwan. And, developing data query programs to enhance the TAQMN data service.
4. expand the function and capability of the ambient history data statistic database in order to provide more trend information of the air quality of Taiwan.
