In reaction with the global circulation and internationalization of product specification of environmental sanitation pesticides, this research is ought to bring up the specification formulation of environmental sanitation pesticides which conform with the international one in order to raise its quality and ensure the safety and prevention effects of users. The research is conducted through literature collection and inspection experiments. In the aspects of formulation inspecting technique of environmental sanitation pesticides, international common liquid formulation specifications include: emulsion stability）,suspensibility, wet sieving, persistent foaming, spontaneity of dispersion and accelerated storage procedure. It is learned from inspection results that the above six methods are applicable in environmental sanitation pesticides. As to the aspect of specific pesticides for the purpose of environmental sanitation, currently, there is no international common required specification, the research is set under the draft of international common inspection methods, which include: mosquito coil (MC), average weight of coils, burning time, strength of coil, separation of twin coils, vaporizing mats (MV), evaporation rate, clogging of aerosol dispenser valves of aerosol dispenser (AE), internal pressure and discharge rate.
In the aspect of specification formulation of environmental sanitation pesticides, this research has achieved 14 drafts of formulation, including soluble concentrate (SL), oil miscible liquid (OL), ultra low volume liquid (UL/ULV), emulsifiable concentrate (EC), emulsion oil in water (EW), suspension concentrate=flowable concentrate (SC), capsule suspension (CS), oil dispersion (OD), aerosol dispenser (AE), mosquito coil (MC), vaporizing mats (MV), liquid vaporizer (LV), gel bait and microcapsule.
It is learned from the evaluation of domestic inspection institute of specification formulation of environmental sanitation pesticides, at the moment, there is no inspection industry for environmental sanitation pesticides in our country, in the aspect of public department, there are only pesticide inspection services offered by Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection and Taiwan Agricultural Chemicals and Toxic Substances Research Institute Council of Agriculture, however, there is no service regarding to specific specification formulation of environmental sanitation pesticides. In the aspect of inspection charge, charges for main ingredients and physical & chemical one have been set, also, it equips with unity and rationality of the inspecting items, ranging from NTD600-NTD50,000, depending on different inspection items. Therefore, it is essential to advance specification formulation of environmental sanitation pesticides and systematic inspection methods.
