There were 3 stages of integration included within this project. The first stage is to complete database information integration on December 2006. The second stage is to complete permit database integration on June 2007. The third stage is to make online permit application on December 2007. Each type of permit application is sent to Environmental Permit System (EPS).
To complete integration of air, water, and waste baseline information, there are two types of tables, mutual table and specific table. There are eight mutual tables. The single table can not be used interchangeably in each permit is called specific table.
The EPS offers 9 categories of inquiries. In year 2006, simple inquiry function was made from air, water, and waste baseline information after being integrated together.
The numbering and coding principle in integrated database is, production process numbering keeps its own number, while production process coding corresponds to its specifics coding. Raw material code corresponds to its specific code. The weight units all used in kilogram, energy units all used in calories, work units all used in watts. We still keep some other special units.
