This project was executed from July 11, 2007 to May 31, 2008 with 216 investigations done. The investigations focus on the piggery management, actual breed scale, pollution prevention facilities installations and operation status. For the installation of facility for the elimination of bad smell in the piggery, it can be seen from the investigation results that the number of piggery that uses sparying odor inhibitor has increased by 7 after the implementation of the project, which is an increase of 24％; the number of piggery that uses net to reduce odor problem has increased by 7 after the implementation of the project, which is an increase of 24％; the number of piggery that uses sterilization to reduce odor stays at five after the implementation of the project, which shows no increase at all. In the excrement de-odoring aspect, the number of piggery that uses odor inhibitor to reduce odor problem has increased by 1 after the implementation of the project, which shows an increase of 3％; in addition, the number of piggery that uses net or additional cover to reduce odor problem has increased by 3 after the implementation of the project, which shows an increse of 10%. In the de-odoring of dead pig aspect, the number of piggery that uses additional cover to reduce odor problem has increased by 2 after the implementation of the project, which shows an increase of 7％; the number of piggery that uses sterilizer to reduce odor problem has increased by 9 after the implementation of the project, which shows an increase of 31％. In the bad smell elimination aspect in waste water treatment plant, the number of piggery that uses spraying odoer inhibitor to reduce odor problem in the waste water treatment plant has increased by 1 after the implementation of the project, which shows an increase of 4％; in addition, there is no piggery that uses net to reduce the bad smell from the waste water treatment plant before the implementaiton of the project; but the number of piggery that uses net to reduce odor problem in waste water plant has increased by 4 after the implementation of the project, which shows an increase of 14％.
In the examination operation aspect, 98 examinations have been done on piggeries in this project, among them, 91 examinations are routine monitoring operation, 7 are auditing examination operation. According to the routine examination results, 10 piggeries were found disqualified in the first examination, and four found disqualified in the second examination, but only one piggery was found disqualified in the third examination; it shows that the project has obviously solved the piggery odors problem. Besides, during the project period, there are four piggeries that have completed the counseling and improvement operation, after double examination, and they meet the requirements of regulations and standards; the result shows that the improvement operation of the four piggeries has great profit on the peripheral environment.
