This project, “Upgrading System Efficiency of the Employee Portal and ROC Environmental Knowledge Management”, is primarily to extend the integrating process of the current Knowledge Management System features and to expand the application benefits of existing intranet systems such as Calendar System, Resource Management System, Knowledge Management System, and Department Information Portal.
The overall goal of this project is to provide users with a user-friendly operation platform not only to improve work proficiency, but also build an effective and ever-growing knowledge community.
The project objectives are as follows:
(1) Able to significantly upgrade the intra web system features, easily maintain web contents, and continuously provide high-quality service.
(2) Able to effectively utilize the built-in full text search features for employees to easily retrieve the desired knowledge information out of intranet web pages or stored information sources.
(3) Able to intelligently enrich the content of the KM system and promote the concept of sharing knowledge through the intranet Single-Sign-On (SSO) mechanism.
All the above project objectives have been successfully accomplished and the corresponding sub-systems have also been online.
