第16屆中華民國企業環保獎行政作業及獲獎績優廠商觀摩研討會
| 中文摘要 | 處在全球化的時代，「全球思考、在地行動」不僅僅只是句口號，對各領域產業發光發熱、與國際接軌的台灣，更是追求經濟成長、環境永續的想望，因為惟有落實企業的社會環境責任，台灣才可能成為全球環境保護的貢獻者。 舉高科技產業為例，在歐盟環保三法及化學物質管制條例先後上路後，已為電子電器產業掀起全面性的綠色革命，從原料到製程、運輸及使用，致力於生產符合環保要求、對環境友善的綠色產品，已經成為跨國企業落實永續發展的利基，台灣產業亦然。為達此境界，我國更於今年澳洲主辦APEC場合中，提出「綠色消費契機」倡議，從五大面向，包括工業環保、消費型態、清潔生產、污染管制、溫室氣體減量等內容，表達台灣願意向國際社會作出貢獻。另期經由上游製造業者、中游販售業者及下游消費者對本署環保政策的支持，透過企業、民眾及政府的合作行動，讓我們體會到環境問題的解決，需要政府、企業及民間建立夥伴關係，進行共同管理才能達到。惟有採取綠色生產、綠色行銷、綠色消費等共同管理的具體行動，三者才能共同生存，並共享優質的生活環境。 經濟發展與環境保護不必相互衝撞、拉扯，反該像火車雙軌，齊力帶領台灣往永續發展前進，事實上，近年來環保意識高漲，台灣已經有越來越多的企業領會到生產與環境間互動的重要性，開始投入環保投資，成為綠色產業。 反應在具體的環保工作推動上，企業觀念也從早期著重傳統污染防治措施的建設，逐漸轉變成整合性的環保策略及作為，著重環境規劃與管理、製程減廢、污染監測及稽核等，推行環保觀念，不僅讓企業降低生產成本，提高競爭優勢，也達到企業永續經營。 本署自民國81年起，每年辦理中華民國企業環保獎，是對台灣企業推動環保所頒發的最高榮譽，以鼓勵事業單位積極進行綠色生產。為使獲獎企業的績優環保事蹟，能夠持續累積、分享、傳承與推廣下去，針對今年的得獎者，本署特編印「第16屆中華民國企業環境環保獎績優廠商優良環保事蹟彙編」，以獲獎事業為楷模，提供其他企業參考，期共同推動環境保護工作，全面提昇台灣環境品質，並增加企業的國際競爭力。 | ||

The Sixteenth Annual Enterprises Environmental Protection (EEP) Award of the Republic of China (ROC)
| 英文摘要 | Since 1992, the Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration (TEPA) has sponsored the〝Annual Enterprises Environmental Protection Award (AEEPA) of the Republic of China (ROC)〞for 16 consecutive years. Each year 10 to 12 of the best organizations are honored for their outstanding performance in promoting environmental protection. The Annual Enterprises Environmental Protection Award (AEEPA) is held to promote environmental protection and to honor those companies that have achieved particularly impressive performances in this respect. It is the highest honor that an enterprise can receive for the promotion of environmental protection. The recipients of the AEEPA provide models of excellence environmental performances for various business sectors. The criteria for the selection of the 16th AEEPA recipients include five items, which are: (1) environmental protection planning and management, (2) promotion of cleaner production, (3) management and maintenance of pollution prevention, (4) waste treatment and disposal, (5) promotion of public awareness of the importance of environmental protection work. The 10 recipients of the 16th AEEPA were: (1)Buddhist Dalin Tzu Chi General Hospital, (2)Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation, (3)Chi-Mei Optoelectronics Corporation-B Plant, (4)Chang-Hua Christian Hospital, (5)Super Textile Corporation, (6)Hsin-Ta Power Station, Taiwan Power Company, (7)Chia-Yi Christian Hospital, (8)United Microelectronics Corporation-Fab8F, (9)AU Optronics Corporation, (10)San Yang Industry Co. Ltd.. Striving to enhance environmental quality in Taiwan, the TEPA has published the 〝Summaries of Excellent Performance in Environmental Protection by the 16th AEEPA Winners,〞which introduces these organizations’ experience to various business sectors. In addition, the EPA will also sponsor demonstration seminars and site visits to some of the award-winning organizations’ facilities, allowing the winners to share their experiences in promoting environmental protection. | ||
