The Nan-tou county’s inspection and control plan for mobile pollution sources have been conducted during March, 24, 2008 to March, 23, 2009. The executive results indicate 20,801 of notices were sent for roadside motorcycles that were not checked by regulation inspection motorcycle stations. 20,411 motorcycles past the inspection and the re-inspection rate achieved 98.10%. There were 9,621 motorcycles have been re-inspected after 20,623 documents were sent for un-inspected motorcycles. We also have finished 26 times of roadside inspection activities and inspected 1,025 motorcycles. 28 times of outdoor inspections for motorcycle emission have been conducted and inspected 1,009 motorcycles. 453 cases of which did not pay the penalty fee after deadline were transferred to Executive Unit, Ministry of Justice. Sixty eight of motorcycle inspection stations have past the official evaluation and checks for the four seasons. The comparisons of standard reference gases with the inspection instruments in the regulation inspection motorcycle stations were conducted twice. One time of real vehicle evaluation in public was conducted for each regular motorcycle inspection station. 18 times of secret evaluations were conducted for motorcycle inspection stations. We also finished two training and education activities for employee of motorcycle inspection stations. One Award Presentation and affair conference, including strategy conference (two days and one night) was also conducted. Two activities of affair communication conferences for regular motorcycle inspection have been held. The plan promoted 500 motorcycles to change their air filters and 32 of simple emission analysis devices for motorcycle inspection stations. 15 sets of real-time monitoring systems were installed in inspection stations. The plans propagated the proposals for regular motorcycle inspection and dealt with resident’s petition and information, We have aggressively finished the items of contract and the results also agreed with the spirit and criteria of the contract.
