九十七年度南部海域環境品質調查監測計畫

中文摘要 本研究針對台灣南部重要的河川河口及港口海域中水質及底泥之營養鹽及重金屬含量進行調查,研究結果顯示:在海域水質方面,各重金屬含量均未超過水體標準,不過在各河川出口處水質之氨氮、總磷及亞硝酸鹽含量常測得異常偏高之現象,顯示上述河川已受到一定之生活污水(或可能之畜牧廢水)之污染。至於龍坑海域各水質項目並無異常高的測值,顯示阿瑪斯號油輪沉没漏油對附近海域水質之衝擊已不明顯,但對於近岸礁岩與底棲生物之影響建議仍應持續追蹤。在海域沈積物方面,曾文溪口附近海域各測站沈積物金屬測值普遍較其它區域測站來得低。安平港沈積物之銅金屬較鄰近曾文溪及阿公店溪測站略高,由銅金屬富集因子亦得出相同的結果。而阿公店溪口測站沈積物之鋅金屬變化較大且高於其它海域含量。高雄港海域只有銅金屬有明顯偏高,而沈積物在銅及鋅金屬濃度均為該海域歷年最高值,應與粒徑大小相關。至於林邊溪沈積物金屬濃度均較前述各海域測站高。

2008 Southern Coastal Environment Annual Monitoring Project

英文摘要 This study monitored concentrations of nutrients and heavy metals in coastal water and bottom sediments near major estuaries and harbors along southern coast of Taiwan. According to our results, heavy metal concentrations of water samples are lower than EPA water criteria. However, elevated concentrations of ammonia, total phosphate and nitrite were measured in most estuarine water samples that might imply contamination of municipal or livestock wastewater from upstream areas of those rivers. Also, our results from Longkeng area show no evidence of petroleum residue resulted from the spill of the wreckage of a cargo ship, AMORGOS, though keeping monitoring water quality here is recommended. Heavy metal concentrations of bottom sediments collected from stations of Tsengwen Chi estuary are lower than those from nearby estuaries and harbors. Copper concentrations, coincident with copper enrichment factors, of sediments from Anping Harbor coast are higher than those from neighboring areas, Tsengwen Chi and Akontian Chi estuaries. Zinc concentrations of sediments from Akontian Chi estuary, which have highest zinc concentrations than other areas studied. This year, copper and zinc concentrations of sediments from Kaohsiung harbor coast reached their historical high. Finer in particle size might be the reason for these elevated concentrations. Sediments of Lingbian Chi estuary, compared with other areas studied, possess highest concentration in most of heavy metals in this study
