To accommodate the tendency towards sustainable development ,
Environmental Protection Administration applies ecological
engineering to clean up the water of rivers and streams as well as
accelerate the integration of water ecological, quality and quantity
in watershed so that the goal of environmental protection is
practicable. Environmental Protection Administration subsidizes
local governments to process natural clarification over 50 sites.
According to recent assessment, the effects increases year by year,
and compared with traditional sewage t reatment , t he cost i s l ess and
the result is the same or better.
Accordingly, Environmental Protection Administration chooses
20 artificial wetland and processing sites to popularize water quality
clarification. They take pictures from ground as well as high up in
the air, then pick 2 sites to make short guidance film. The basic
information, treatment uni t , ecological environment , culture, and
clari fication effects of the cases are sorted. They emphasize the
benefits and functions of natural clarification in graphical and lively
way through the construction of the website. It provides the public a
method to view and inquire so the goal of education and guidance is
achieved. In addition, the photos is also used to design the monthly
calendar of next year.
